With their conductor Tobias Drewelius, the more than 100 students, scientists, or staff members of KIT are playing concerts, usually at the end of the semester, with a demanding repertoire of classical, romantic, and modern pieces. The orchestra cooperates with internationally known soloists as well as with promising young artists from the Karlsruhe region.
Concert tours in Europe, Canada, Israel, Chile, Brazil, Tunisia, and China have made the orchestra a worldwide ambassador of music culture.
