AUSGEBUCHT: Stadtbaum-Gesundheit – Wie lebt es sich als Baum in der Stadt?
Thursday, 16 October 2025, 10:00-10:45
Friedrichsplatz, Erbprinzenstraße, 76133 Karlsruhe
Trees make cities more livable—but how are the trees actually doing? In this tour, you will learn why life in the city is often difficult for trees: heat, limited space, and dry soil take their toll. You will find out how researchers at KIT use digital measuring devices to monitor the health of trees—and what this reveals about the city of the future. Exciting for school classes from grade 5 onwards!
The event is not barrier-free accessible.
