It is mainly people in the global South who suffer under the effects of climate change. How do we as the international community deal with it? Dr. Insa Thiele-Eich, Climate Researcher, Meteorologist, and Future Astronaut, is convinced that climate policy will only succeed when we provide for global justice. In her keynote starting the central panel discussion of the KIT Science Week “Global Rethinking: Innovations for More Climate Justice”, she directs attention to those who already are the most disadvantaged today. The following discussion also addresses the role of new technologies in climate protection. (Bestselling Author Tupoka Ogette had to cancel her patricipation).
